For Your Consideration posts are usually a peek into my various sartorial trains of thought, but I am currently the conductor of a one-track mind. My big priority for this month is selecting my wedding gown, and let me tell you, the process requires virtually all of my brain power. @Other Brides: How do you do it?
It’s hard to share specifics without giving too much away — although paid B Listers will get a BTS look at the process next week — but for now, I still wanted to get something in your inboxes ahead of the weekend. I thought I’d have nothing to share, but I must’ve momentarily forgotten that writing about things I love comes quite easily to me. If there’s one thing I can do, it’s yap about shopping and trends!
Without further ado, I present the below for your consideration. We’re chatting square-toed shoes, hair cuffs, dreamy homewares, my new favorite fragrance, a $10 lippie, loungewear selects and so much more. Bon appétit!
Fair & Square
The rise of the square-toed shoe is upon us, and it’s a footwear framing that comes in multiple different flavors: organic, severe, and subtle. I’ve been lusting after the Stella McCartney Ryder Chain Loafers ($280, originally $750) since November, and when they dropped from $750 to just shy of $300, I knew they had to be mine. Available sizes in the Bordeaux colorway are slim pickings, but the all-new Dusty Blue is just as good (if not dreamier).
I love the way the Stellas have a truly foot-shaped front, but other brands — like Jacquemus and Tibi — have committed to a more full-on square toe box. The Jacquemus The Ballet Flats ($515, originally $750) and Tibi Suede Seth Sneaker ($425) are for bold fashionistas with geometric persuasions.
If you need to ease in to right angles, consider subtler styles like the Aeyde Sunny Leather Mary-Jane Flats ($325, originally $445) or the Alohas Sway Square Toe Ballet Flats ($180), which feature a longer vamp that tapers to a squared-off toecap.
To Visit: Rosemary Home

It’s been a minute since I had the free time to stroll East Village, but after lunch at Ruby’s with friends last week, we popped into a few vintage stores that happened to be on the same street as Rosemary Home (315 E 9th Street), a shop I’d heard about via TikTok.
Inside, a serotonin-boosting blend of vintage and modern homewares, from spirited Murano glassware to unique handmade serving pieces imported from Portugal and Germany. It was as if the coolest, most colorful girl you know had rented out a showroom to house her dream registry — with a side showcase of vintage jewelry to boot.
I couldn’t leave without snagging a cluster of alabaster cherries, and I was delighted to find a gorgeous online store accompanies their brick-and-mortar for those of you that can’t pop over to 9th St on your lunch break.

Cuffing Season
Allow me a self-plug — my new Cuffing Season Collection for RPZL dropped just before the holidays, and I had zero time to bring it to your attention here on Substack! I absolutely love collaborating with the RPZL team on unique hair accessories, and our cuffs are the best sellers by far, so we had to offer a few glitzed-up versions for winter and beyond.
Favorites include the The Mixed Metal Morgan Cuff ($30) — my gift to those who can’t decide between our classic gold and silver offerings — and the Morgan Pavé Crystal Cuff ($45) and Bella Pavé Crystal Cuff ($39) for those seeking something that makes more of a statement (we also dropped an all-black Morgan for folks who want the opposite, and it’s become my personal go-to).
Lastly, I foresee the Pearl Pin ($12) gaining traction for how minimalist and convenient it is. I love hooking one into a simple updo or half-up style, but I’m looking forward to experimenting and stacking a few for a more glamorous (bridal, even?) take. We’re debating playing with different sizes and varieties of pearls as well, so there’s potentially more to come.
SYSS (Stuff You Should See)
I’ve been pining over the Miu Miu Metal Oval Sunglasses ($517) since August, and lucky girl that I am, they showed up in my Christmas stocking. 10/10 recommend. These are my second pair of Miu Mius, and they’re both equally versatile.
On Black Friday, I impulse-purchased a set from the Talentless Running (Errands) Club Collection, and I have zero regrets. This is the kind of loungewear that makes me happy to look at/wear in public/take selfies in. I nabbed the Crewneck ($99), the Sweatpants ($99), and the Baby Tee ($32).
My fragrance journey continues! I’ve always been curious about skin-like scents that work in tandem with your body’s chemistry to enhance and flatter, and Snif’s brand-new Me Eau de Toilette ($65) is truly lovely. Notes include plum, beach skin, white moss, orris, sandalwood and musks. What a dream.
I purchased six shades of the Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Balm ($10.49) in-store at CVS, but you can nab them with ease on Amazon. These are the ideal no-fuss everyday lippies — I got Pink Flip, Glossed Up Rose, Girly Swirly, Nude Illuminator, Honey Shine, and Cherry Luster.
Replica by Maison Margiela so generously scent me the new By The Fireplace 600mg Ceramic Candle ($200), a supersized three-wick take on one of the brand’s classic wintery scents. I’m all for a good Bath & Body Works candle, but I’d argue a few bougie picks per year can double as decor.
This brand is all over my socials lately, and I’m feeling influenced. The Elwood Knit Crew Neck Sweater ($175) and Intarsia Logo Baggy Sweatpants ($125) look ridiculously cozy. What say ye?

Ok so the dress thing...I was certain about the styles that would flatter me & looks that I wanted (sooo many pinned on pinterest) but the best thing is actually just trying on more in the store & outside of the comfort zone. Dresses I thought that were for SURE winners ended up not being the best & other styles I wouldn't have tried really surprised me. In the end it's so fun so just try everything (within reason) & bc why not - it's the one time you get to do it!! And it's the best time! Can't wait to see what you choose!
