I’m finally at the stage of wedding planning that involves picking out napkins and dishes not for my reception, but for my home. It’s registry time, y’all!

After strolling the hallowed halls of Bergdorfs, Bloomies, Williams Sonoma, and even Crate & Barrel, I’ve had some realizations about my decor preferences — namely, that everything I like reminds me of something I loved from one vacation or another. My hotel tendencies are showing!

From crisp white linens to pewter serveware, I’m gravitating towards pieces that remind me of late nights at Hotel Chelsea, or early mornings at the Four Seasons. Because why should I have to travel to delight in frivolously fancy homewares?

Why shouldn’t my morning coffee at home feel like high-end room service? Does my bathroom clutter need to overwhelm, or can I present it on trays that make it feel intentional and exciting? Is it wrong to use fine china for everyday snacking?

As I’ve built out my registry, I’ve slowly answered the above questions and more. Below, a sneak peak at a few items I’m hoping for that boast major hotel flair.
